Event Sources

In WS-Eventing, an Event Source is something that emits events. You can add event sources as In-Memory or Registry.

Adding a New Event Source

1. In the navigator, under Configure, click Event Sources. The Event Sources page appears.
2. Click Add New Event Source.The New Event Source page appears.
3. Select the event source type: In memory or Registry.
   • If you select In Memory, you have to enter the name, topic header name and the topic header namespace.
   • If you select Registry, you have to enter the name, topic header name, topic header namespace, registry URL, user name and password.
4. Click Add. The event source you added will appear on the Event Sources page. Figure 1:Adding In-Memory Event Source Figure 2: Adding Registry Event Source
